Culture Boulevard has a new pink art installation in town. After the "Lich King Arthas" statue from *World of Warcraft* created a stir here, the latest eye-catcher is this pink-line-structured French bulldog — a walk-through art piece that blends with the blue sky, green lawns, and white clouds, and is expected to become the next big photo hotspot.

Donated to Taichung City Government by the Chi Mei Museum, the 6.5-meter-tall “French Bulldog” installation was created by Taiwanese designer Wang Ya-wei. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design, he used pink wire as a brush to sketch out the design concept of the French bulldog — an artwork with spatial transparency.

The French Bulldog is more than just art; it carries a deeper meaning. “Dogs may have much shorter lives than humans, but the love they give us is beyond imagination,” highlighting how pets have become important companions, friends, and even family members for many people.
