This is a 10-story container hotel led by architect Lin Chih-Te, where the Container Hotel utilizes a distinctive design to reduce heat gain and air conditioning loss, creating an urban green building. Now, you don’t have to go abroad—in Taiwan, you can stay in such an innovative living space.

In addition to the Container Hotel, both Taiwan and Hong Kong feature unique residential accommodations such as pipe homes, including the recently popular 3-ping pipe home in Hong Kongwhich transforms large concrete water pipes into living spaces, complete withkitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms. It not only reflects the challenges of home ownership in Hong Kong but also aims to help alleviate the issue of high housing costs.
