Located in Taichung, Agora Garden was a large garden and defunct amusement park situated in the Dakeng Scenic Area. It was once one of the well-known tourist attractions and a childhood memory for many locals in Taichung. After it ceased operations and was abandoned, it was even ranked by British media as the 8th most terrifying abandoned amusement park in the world's top 12. Now, it is rumored that the site will be transformed into Taiwan's first-ever multi-level racetrack.

Agora Garden was known for its variety of exotic flowers, unique trees, and water dance performances, as well as amusement rides and theatrical song-and-dance shows. It also served as one of the filming locations for the popular outdoor variety show "百战百胜" (Unbeatable). However, after the 921 Earthquake, visitor numbers dropped sharply, and by 2008, Agora Garden officially closed down. The park has remained abandoned ever since.

After being abandoned for many years, the site became a destination for adventurous visitors and was even listed by British media as one of the world’s haunted abandoned amusement parks. Recently, parts of the park have been partially renovated, and a supercar company owner is planning to lease the parking lot next to the park and invest in transforming it into a racetrack. Once completed, it will be Taiwan's only multi-level racetrack featuring uphill and downhill sections.

In addition to the racetrack, operators have also expressed plans to lease another section of the park to develop it into a hot spring campsite, while preserving and renovating some of the original amusement facilities, hoping to once again make it a backyard paradise for the people of Taichung.
