Most areas across Taiwan, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will be mostly cloudy to sunny. From early morning to the morning hours, localized brief showers or thunderstorms may occur in western Taiwan and Penghu. In the afternoon, localized brief thunderstorms are expected throughout the island, with a chance of heavier rainfall in some areas.

On July 1, affected by southwesterly winds, southern regions and Penghu may experience localized brief showers or thunderstorms. Other areas, as well as Kinmen and Matsu, will mostly be cloudy to sunny, with localized brief thunderstorms in the afternoon, and there remains a chance of heavier rainfall in some areas.

The weather bureau has also issued a high temperature alert. Temperatures in Taipei City and New Taipei City will reach up to 35°C, while the rest of Taiwan will see temperatures around 32–33°C. In addition to the possibility of afternoon showers island-wide, precautions against heatstroke and dehydration are advised.
