Because driftwood often washes ashore here, local residents used local materials like sand and driftwood to build a swing. However, due to weather and safety considerations, the swing is only set up by the sea in summer. With the blue sky and sea stretching to the horizon, the rolling waves create soothing sounds of the surf, and on clear days, you can even see Guishan Island in the distance.

^Tutouzhen is located in Yilan County. It’s a relatively remote village with a laid-back atmosphere, surrounded by rich seafood resources and a unique geographical location. It’s close to the 0-kilometer point of National Freeway No. 5, near Lianyuan Hospital. It’s also an excellent spot to enjoy the “Five Views of Lanyang.” Nearby, you’ll find a well-preserved wetland park, a 20-kilometer bike path, historic military bunkers and watchtowers, and other attractions.
