Good Cho’s, which started as a hub for the creative crowd at Sishisan South Village, has four permanent stores and occasional pop-ups in Taipei. It sells Western-style bagels but insists on using local Taiwanese ingredients for fillings, making it a well-known specialty bagel shop. Good Cho’s has decided to step out of northern Taiwan for the first time in mid-September this year, opening at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s Taichung Zhonggang branch. The store will offer around 20 types of bagels, including Taichung-exclusive flavors and popular ones from Taipei.

Hong Kong pop-up exclusive flavor “Mango Jin Xuan.”
In addition, Good Cho’s bagels received great acclaim during their May pop-up in Hong Kong. This September, they have been invited again to collaborate with city’super to set up a pop-up store at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, launching a Hong Kong-exclusive flavor “Mango Jin Xuan.” Dried Irwin mangoes blend perfectly with the mildly milky aroma of Jin Xuan oolong tea, offering layers of tea and fruit flavors.

Besides Mango Jin Xuan, the Hong Kong pop-up also features other highly popular flavors making their first appearance. The floral and fruity “Rose Roselle Cheese” is a fan-favorite among girls, while the rich and wholesome “Brown Sugar Black Sesame,” packed with hearty ingredients, brings a total of 12 limited-edition bagel flavors to Hong Kong.
