On Monday, October 29, influenced by the Northeast Monsoon, mornings and evenings will be relatively cool, with large day-night temperature variations in western Taiwan; most areas across Taiwan, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will experience mostly sunny to cloudy weather, with isolated brief afternoon showers in the mountainous regions of southern Taiwan. The eastern half of Taiwan (including Green Island and Orchid Island), the Hengchun Peninsula, coastal areas in the north, and Matsu will experience swells due to the peripheral circulation of the typhoon.

From Tuesday evening and into Wednesday daytime, areas north of Miaoli and eastern Taiwan will gradually see changing weather, turning cloudy with showers. Low temperatures in these regions may even drop below 20°C, ranging between 19–24°C. Central and southern Taiwan will have more stable weather, with temperatures between 20–28°C, and significant day-night temperature differences. Remember to bring extra warm clothing for early mornings and evenings when going out to avoid catching a chill.
