This Siang Hao・Pâtisserie located in West District, Taichung, is not your ordinary patisserie. Despite being nestled in the bustling city, it exudes a tranquil atmosphere, as if time slows down here. The name of the patisserie is inspired by the elegance of swans.

The must-order cake here is the marble mirror cake with an incredibly dreamy appearance. In addition to the standard round shape, the cake also comes in stone-shaped and heart-shaped designs, all exquisitely crafted. The marble cake is primarily made with mousse as the main cake base, with layers of diced fruits and jelly inside.

For those who don’t like the natural color of marble, there’s also a pink heart-shaped marble cake that’s utterly dreamy.
At first glance, the marble-patterned cake really does look like marble—it’s hard to imagine that once sliced, it reveals a moist, sweet-and-sour mousse fruit cake.
