The 2018 Taoyuan Iron Rose Music Festival is the largest music event in the Taoyuan area. This year’s finale, the “Iron Rose Music Festival - Die-Hard Rock Party” concert, kicked off with great fanfare on December 1 at the plaza in front of Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Station, featuring an extraordinary concert lineup including Jam Hsiao’s Lion Choir, New Formosa Band, and many others who will rock out with the public in Taoyuan.

The “Iron Rose Music Festival - Die-Hard Rock Party” concert features 10 powerhouse acts making their debut or returning to the Iron Rose stage, including Jam Hsiao’s “Lion Choir,” the ageless fun-loving “New Formosa Band,” Taiwan’s rock ambassadors “TOLAKU,” the dreamy adventure band “Universe People,” next-gen electro-pop idol “Drummer” Lu Szu-Wei, next-gen ethereal girl “Erika,” the all-original rock band “Chemical Monkeys,” the most anticipated new-generation Hokkien rockers “Sunset Samurai,” as well as 2018 Hot Music Awards college division champions “Wei” and 2018 Hot Music Awards social division runners-up “LonelyElmo.”

On December 1, live performances continued for six hours straight starting at 4 p.m., while from 3 p.m. the site also featured surrounding activities such as a cultural and creative food market, DIY experience events, and stamp-collecting giveaways—all free and open to the public.
