Last updated 2026-11-08 — Editor’s Note: Jingle bells, jingle bells~ The annual Christmas season is coming up again soon~ Stores on every street corner have already started gearing up with Christmas vibes...

Now, as you wander around the world, everywhere is lit up with breathtaking festive surprises that sparkle along the streets. Don’t you wish you could bring all these dazzling highlights home?! Don’t you want to beautifully decorate your living room?! Aside from managing your budget well, it’s also about unleashing your creativity and carefully selecting the perfect decorative elements. Planning to give this year’s Christmas tree a fresh new look—no more repeating the same thing year after year. Just by visiting a home furnishing store—even if you’re just there to browse—you’ll be treated to an eye feast and may even spark some Christmas creativity of your own at home!

Beyond the classic Christmas tree and essential holiday decor in the traditional gold, silver, red, and green color palette, continuing last year’s increasingly popular natural and therapeutic Christmas style, using other materials to frame the shape of the Christmas tree has been very well received by consumers. As an alternative, even if your home space is limited and you can’t put up a large real or fake Christmas tree, the rise of concept-style Christmas décor not only saves costs and space but also allows for more family D.I.Y. fun—definitely a very fresh idea!

Another little highlight I noticed in Dutch Christmas decorations this year is the adorable takeover of pastel animal-themed elements. Reindeer (like Bambi) are the popular animal icons of December. In addition to all kinds of décor pieces you can play with in “reindeer style,” even my personal favorite—poodle dogs—can get a glamorous golden outfit (with rhinestone imitation), sparkling so brightly I couldn’t help but exclaim how cute they are. They make fantastic Christmas gift ideas (Ruben, did you hear that? I love them!). There are also many Christmas ornaments that break away from traditional Christmas balls, candy-themed sweetheart Christmas décor, a lavish peacock-feather-style Christmas, rustic log-series décor... Oh my gosh, there are so many I’d love to live there, gathering endless Christmas inspiration and satisfying all my festive cravings in one go.
