This season’s featured limited-edition cakes include mini lava cakes in strawberry and apple flavors, made with rich cake batter using 61% dark chocolate from the renowned Belgian chocolate maker Belcolade, and filled with premium ingredients from Japan and France.
Apple Lovers Chocolate Lava Cake
Both the strawberries and apples are sourced from Hokkaido Suganoen’s dreamy Peach-Smoked Strawberries and apples from Aomori Prefecture. With its rich layers of flavor from the outside in, it can be enjoyed either hot or cold for different satisfying experiences. When chilled, the chocolate cake becomes firmer and the filling cool and moist; when slightly warmed, the filling bursts out like molten lava with intense aroma.
