Want to see festive lights before Christmas? Head to Ashikaga City in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, to experience the largest light festival in the Kanto region.
The world-class wisteria at the park consists of three 300-tsubo wisteria trellises and one 300-tsubo eight-layered wisteria trellis. Combined with an 80-meter-long white wisteria tunnel and a yellow wisteria tunnel, it feels like being immersed in a sea of flowers. From late October to early February every year, the park also decorates the venue with up to 2.1 million light bulbs, having been ranked as the second-best light display in all of Japan.
