THEO MIO — Award-Winning Italian Cuisine
THEO MIO, the Italian restaurant at London’s InterContinental Hotel, has won numerous accolades over the years for its exquisite cooking, including “Italian Restaurant of the Year 2013” in London and “Best Hotel in the UK for Food” by British magazine Condé Nast Traveller. This year, the InterContinental group has brought THEO MIO to its Bangkok branch, so Asian diners no longer need to travel to Europe to enjoy top-notch Italian cuisine. Unlike other branches, Bangkok’s THEO MIO sources its fruits and vegetables from K Village—a market that specializes in produce from Thai farmers. This not only ensures freshness, but some of the varieties are even homegrown by the farmers, offering unique flavors. The chefs then craft seasonal dishes exclusive to the Bangkok outlet based on these ingredients.
