The food court originally located on the B2 level of Terminal 2 at Taoyuan Airport was closed for business on December 31, 2018, undergoing comprehensive renovation. It is expected to reopen in May 2019, bringing new dining options to offer travelers more variety.

The B2 food court at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2 was previously operated by Uni-President Enterprises. It ceased operations at the end of 2018 due to the expiration of its contract, and has been taken over by new operator Yiming Jisheng. The entire food court area will have its pipelines and equipment replaced and upgraded, along with expanded planning and renovations. The operational area will also be larger than before, with the number of restaurant stalls increasing from 15 to 20. New dining brands joining include Qia Qi Wan, Xiaonanmen, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Kaochuan Eel Rice, RAMEN IROHA, and 12MINI Classic Exclusive Hot Pot. Meanwhile, the 7-Eleven convenience store that was previously in the food court has also withdrawn from Terminal 2. The only convenience store left in Terminal 2 is the FamilyMart, which opened at the end of 2018.

However, travelers don’t need to worry about going hungry when visiting Terminal 2 in the near future. In addition to setting up temporary food stalls on both sides of the entrance and exit of the Airport MRT Station at B2 level of Terminal 2, offering light meals, meal boxes, fast food, bread and other food options, there are also dining areas on both sides of the first-floor arrival hall and on the fourth floor of the departure hall.

There are two dining areas on the fourth floor of the departure hall in Terminal 2, both recently opened for trial operation. Outside the departure control area, there are Chinese and Western dining services. Additionally, there is a brand-new dining area inside the departure control area on the fourth floor, featuring popular beef noodles “Lin Dongfang Beef Noodles” and “KIKI Noodle Bar,” among others, making the dining choices at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2 increasingly diverse.
