Dreamworld is Australia’s most locally distinctive theme park, as well as the most visited and largest in terms of area. Here, you can brave the Big 6 Thrill Rides, experience the Giant Drop—listed in the Guinness World Records as the tallest freefall drop—and ride the Tower of Terror, the fastest roller coaster in the Southern Hemisphere.

Aside from the thrill rides that require some courage, you can also cuddle koalas in the wildlife park, hand-feed kangaroos, or enjoy performances by Aboriginal Australians.

Located on the Gold Coast of Australia, Dreamworld features many themed areas and is the largest amusement park in the country.

Located in Germany, Europa-Park is known as the largest theme park in the world. Although it may not be very well-known in Asia, it rivals Disney in popularity across Europe. The park’s concept was inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales, creating a dreamlike world for children. Among its highlights are themed areas based on famous castles and landmarks across Europe, giving you the feeling of taking a whirlwind tour of the continent in a single day.

The Silver Star is the tallest roller coaster in Europe, plunging at speeds of up to 130 km/h and delivering an adrenaline-pumping thrill.

If you were once enthralled by the sense of accomplishment from stacking tiny LEGO kingdoms as a child, then Denmark’s LEGOLAND is definitely a must-visit pilgrimage site in your lifetime. Established in 1968, LEGOLAND now has parks in Germany, the UK, the US, and more, with upcoming parks in South Korea and Shanghai. Denmark’s LEGOLAND is divided into eight major zones, with the most impressive being “Miniland,” made up of 20 million LEGO bricks. Each attraction and building is meticulously detailed, making it perfect for family fun.

With its bright colors and playful charm, LEGOLAND sparks every child’s imagination.

Located in the suburbs of Seoul, Everland is known as the “Disneyland of Korea!” It combines leisure, entertainment, and eco-education, and consists of five themed areas: Global Fair, American Adventure, Zoo Topia, European Adventure, and Magic Land.

In addition to over 40 different rides, Everland also hosts seasonal parades, houses the world’s only comprehensive wildlife zoo, and features an international four-season garden—guaranteeing great value for your ticket.

Located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, Ocean Park opened in 1977 and is a world-class marine life theme park that integrates entertainment, education, and conservation. If you’re not afraid of heights, the cable car ride is an absolute must-do. The mountain area is the main zone, featuring attractions such as a large aquarium and the Ocean Theatre, while the lower area is home to Asia’s first water amusement center—making it a highly accessible, all-in-one theme park.

The Ocean Theatre offers a variety of exciting animal performances, loved by visitors of all ages.
