Just to leave you a lakeside view—we’re waiting for you.
All selected properties in this package come with balconies offering prime lake-view scenery.
The resort is surrounded by the lake on three sides, and a stroll through the greenery outside adds to the relaxation. With a vast area, it offers 100 surface parking spaces—an advantage unmatched by other hotels. Located right next to Shuishe Pier, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the bustling streets. The back gate of the resort leads to one of the famous attractions on Hsuehshan Peninsula, the "Hsuehshan Lakeside Trail," where a forest path offers views of Sun Moon Lake, and on clear days, Lalu Island can be seen.
Walking through the garden of the Teachers’ Club, you’ll see the neighboring Sun Moon Villa. Heading up the driveway is the Lalu Hotel. Nestled among two five-star hotels, each offers a distinct evening charm—one subtly Japanese under soft lighting, the other dazzlingly glamorous.

The Teachers’ Club was built in sequence, comprising the Baibu Building, Hanxi Building, and Guest Welcome Building, all offering views of Sun Moon Lake’s ever-changing seasonal beauty.
Especially the Guest Welcome Building, located behind the Lalu Hotel and even higher in elevation, faces the same stunning lake view, sharing the million-dollar scenery.

Staying at Sun Moon Lake with a lake view usually costs several thousand NT dollars (equivalent to 4 kids’ meal allowances), and the two neighboring properties of the Teachers’ Club can go up to tens of thousands (12 kids’ meal allowances) for a chance to stay. Many visit Hsuehshan Peninsula just for meals and sightseeing, but staying as a family here can be quite costly.
'dNo extra charge on weekdays during school holidays.
'dBuy 20 get 1 free.
&Pay an additional $1,000/$2,000 on-site to upgrade to the Guest Welcome Building.

There are only three hotels on the entire island, quietly nestled yet central, with a view of national beauty endorsed by state leaders—you can enjoy premium surroundings at budget prices. What a fantastic deal!
Traveling hits the wallet hardest—a family’s food, fun, and lodging all add up. Everyone hopes to work hard together as a family, then take a vacation to bond. Such simple happiness!
Sun Moon Lake has an average annual temperature of 19°C, suitable for travel in any season. With plenty of fun activities for families, seniors, and nature lovers, just use this package for easy extended stays. Located on Hanyue Peninsula in Sun Moon Lake, it's a tranquil paradise away from the hustle and bustle.
Step out of the Teachers’ Association Building parking lot, and you’ll see the neighboring Hanyue Hotel and Sun Moon Manor — you really don’t want to miss one of Sun Moon Lake’s most famous attractions.
The newly built Welcome Building, where the reception hall is located.
Friendly welcome counter.
Green building exterior design, with balconies offering a perfect view of the lake — ideal for quietly sitting and daydreaming.
The official-run inn has a simple and understated style without being extravagant. Though not ostentatious, the cleverly designed high ceilings paired with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows make the lobby bright during the day, without feeling crowded or dim.
The inn preserves calligraphy works by the late artist Zhang Binghuang, with a new quote featured daily, attracting many visitors to take photos.
The guesthouse is located on Hanyue Peninsula near the Shuishe Pier in Sun Moon Lake, built on a hillside overlooking the lake, offering great views.

It’s very close to the Shuishe Pier — just a 10-minute walk away. It’s next to the upscale Hanyue Hotel and Sun Moon Manor, making it a great location. It also includes breakfast, offering excellent value for money.

★ Double room with breakfast for two, weekdays $1,999
The view is no less stunning than that of the neighboring five-star hotel.
Waking up in the morning and gazing at the lake without realizing it is worth it all by itself.
This package B:Hanxi Building Lake View Quadruple Room(11 sqm, two double beds / wet and dry separated bathroom)
★ Includes breakfast for two, weekdays $2,699
'For 2 adults staying with breakfast, a free breakfast is included for children under 6 who do not occupy a bed.

●Both Package A and B offer a great group purchase deal: buy 20, get 1 free.
The bright decor and open-space sofa seating allow you to enjoy the beautiful lake view, mountain scenery, chirping insects, and birdsong as soon as you step in, especially when leaning by the window.
Sunlight floods the entire room.
The room is equipped with basic amenities.
The room is elegantly situated on three sides around the lake, featuring a quiet little balcony where you can enjoy the breeze. Sit down in the afternoon for a cup of tea while admiring the lake view.
It offers a bird’s-eye view of Sun Moon Lake, and the scenery is absolutely stunning.
Both buildings in the second complex have bathrooms with separate wet and dry areas.
‘Renewed’ with a fresh look – an old house revitalized.
The exterior of Hanxi Building is under maintenance, but this does not affect the interior accommodation.
From October 17, 2018, to January 31, 2019, the exterior of Hanxi Building is undergoing maintenance. Construction hours are from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM.
Both Package A and B allow you to upgrade to the Welcome Building at a small additional cost.
Completed in late 2015, the facilities are new. The building is slightly higher in elevation compared to the first two, offering a view that perfectly captures the scenery of the Sun Lake. It’s definitely an incredible value for money choice.
The highlight of the Welcome Building is its great view and prime location. Moreover, it faces the Xiangshan Visitor Center, making it the best spot to watch fireworks. During the fireworks season, rooms are often in high demand.
What leaves the most lasting impression is waking up in the morning, stepping onto the balcony, and gazing at the lake surface shrouded in mist — it feels like a fairyland.
In the cool evening breeze, sit on the balcony’s wicker chair with a cup of fragrant Red Ruby wine, as if you’re in a peach blossom garden, with the beautiful lake view right before your eyes.
Hanbi Peninsula is a spiritually rich treasure land. The Teachers’ Association Building is supervised by the Ministry of Education. The land is leased from the Forestry Bureau, covering a vast area of five hectares. Here, you’re not just staying in a hotel, but also enjoying a large expanse of natural facilities. For city dwellers craving wide-open spaces and tranquility, this place has it all.
Located in a quiet spot, it offers more serenity compared to the bustling streets. It’s like staying in a peaceful upscale residential area where you can quietly admire the views of the Sun Moon Building and Hanbi Building. At night, the sky is adorned with stars and the moon, accompanied by a slight chill. After dinner, the whole family can take a stroll — an experience no other lakeside hotel can offer.
Behind Hanxi Building, there is a walking trail that circles the lake — the world-famous Hanbi Trail.
(The Hanbi Trail was also the path that former President Chiang Kai-shek took to escape the summer heat and contemplate state affairs at Sun Moon Lake.)
The entrance and exit of the Hanbi Trail are right at the Teachers’ Association Building. A relaxing walk takes about an hour, during which you’ll see beautiful scenery, Taiwan’s unique plants, and birds. Especially during this season, wild ginger flowers bloom along the trail, filling the air with their fragrance.
Interestingly, there is a whole row of bald cypress trees. By December, they should present yet another spectacular view. The lake scenery changes every few minutes.
Sun Moon Lake shimmers with emerald waves, its surface as green as a mirror, reflecting the scenery on the shore — a picturesque view.
The trail features wooden boardwalks and stone steps, none of which are very steep.
Along the way, you’ll see many elderly couples walking hand in hand or taking photos. The trail has benches at excellent viewpoints, where people often sit and admire the scenery for a long time.
The fragrance of education spreads far and wide, passed down through the ages. Due to the story of Confucius teaching under the apricot tree, the term “Apricot Altar” (Xingtan) has become synonymous with the field of education. It is said to be the place where Confucius taught, surrounded by apricot trees.
The section of the Hanbi Trail from the Teachers’ Association Building to Meihé Garden is about 1.5 kilometers and leads directly to the Shuishe Pier.
A family stroll along the beautiful lakeside is perfect for taking memorable photos — such a happy moment.
Dinner service hours at the Association Building: 17:30–19:30 (latest dining time until 20:00).
You can choose to dine directly at the Shuishe Pier shopping street or opt for locally sourced meals in the Association Building. No 10% service fee is charged for add-ons, and you also enjoy a 5% discount.
With a new chef joining the team, the menu is diverse and rich, with every bite bursting with homely flavors.
There are both individual set meals and group sharing dishes, featuring locally-sourced agricultural specialties for a traditional home-cooked taste.
Breakfast operating hours: 7:00–09:30
The breakfast combines Chinese and Western elements, offering soy milk and fruits, salads, and other dishes. The buffet includes bread and steamed buns, as well as common home-style congee and side dishes, along with healthy vegetable salads (alfalfa sprouts / houseleek…).
Especially the sugar-free soy milk is thick and delicious. The dishes have that familiar home taste. The weather and air in Sun Moon Lake are so good that the vegetables here taste especially fresh and crisp.
We managed to snag an outdoor spot with an amazing view. Many retired teachers were up early for breakfast, listening to the sounds of insects and birds, breathing in the sweet, fragrant air, and enjoying the views of Sun Moon Lake and the lush green lawns.
Accommodation vouchers are valid for one year, so even if you can’t make it this time, you can use them next year. Vouchers are usable until 2019/12/31, with no extra charges during school holidays or weekdays.
Room availability is limited—first come, first served. Balcony or rooftop rooms offer views of the fireworks. The Xiangshan Visitor Center is right across the way.
