1.Xinglong Garden
Located in Changbin Township, Taitung, Xinglong Garden sits at an altitude of 200 meters and offers a 180-degree panoramic view, allowing visitors to take in the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding coastal landscape. The garden also features seasonal flower seas, earning it the nickname “Changbin’s Sky Garden.”

2.Zhuolan Grand Canyon
Situated at the border between Zhuolan Township in Miaoli County and Dongshi District in Taichung City, Zhuolan Grand Canyon is also known as the 921 Earthquake Canyon. After the earthquake, the riverbed split into two sides, exposing dramatic rocky formations. While it’s a great spot to admire the grand canyon scenery, be cautious of your steps—avoid visiting right after heavy rain for safety reasons！

3.Daban Gen Forest
Located in Sanxia, New Taipei City, Daban Gen Forest spans 20 hectares and is the only remaining low-altitude pristine tropical rainforest in Taiwan. Its natural ecology is exceptionally well-preserved, featuring century-old giant buttress root plants of national heritage value. The forest is home to nearly 500 plant species, over 4,000 insect species, and around 30 bird species—including dinosaur-era ferns and the eight-color bird, which is under global conservation. It truly is a treasure trove of pristine tropical rainforest ecosystems.

4.Goodview Cape
Goodview Cape Scenic Area boasts a vast observation deck and massive wind turbines, making it ideal for walks, seaside strolls, sunset watching, and even train photography for rail fans. A path beneath the observation deck leads to a coastal road—best visited around sunset. On holidays, there are more vendors setting up stalls. It’s a fun and photogenic destination well worth a special trip.
