Valencia is located on the eastern coast of Spain and is the country’s third-largest city. Many of its buildings feature unique shapes and designs, full of artistic elements. French photographer Gauvin Lapetoule visited the city, calling it a kind of pilgrimage, and was especially captivated by the City of Arts and Sciences.
The City of Arts and Sciences was designed by internationally renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, who was born locally. It is a complex dedicated to science, culture, and leisure. Situated in the dry riverbed of the Turia, it is one of Spain’s modern tourist attractions.
