The wisteria season at Ashikaga Park in Japan, once ranked by CNN as one of the world’s 10 most dreamy tourist spots, has been a popular travel destination for many Taiwanese visiting Japan. Recently, a 35-meter-long "wisteria tunnel" has also appeared at Dakeng Leisure Farm in Tainan, showcasing a stunning waterfall-like expanse of purple blooms that can be enjoyed without flying to Japan.

This dreamy wisteria tunnel was originally created as a flower archway for a wedding at the beginning of the year to welcome guests. Although not made of real fresh flowers, it still left everyone on-site amazed. Upon request, it was not taken down and, in combination with the Lunar New Year Mountain Spring Orchid Festival, fresh orchids were gradually added to add a touch of charm.

There's no need to wait for the wisteria’s spring bloom. The wisteria art tunnel at Dakeng Leisure Farm features cascading purple flower spikes in varying shades and white hues swaying gently in the breeze—extremely romantic. When illuminated at night, it becomes even more captivating, making it a hidden gem for wedding photos.

Dakeng Leisure Farm holds a Mountain Spring Orchid Festival every Lunar New Year. This year’s festival focuses on Phalaenopsis and Oncidium orchids, along with a variety of specialty orchids, aiming to create a sea of nearly 3,000 blooming plants. Additionally, the farm is currently in strawberry season—you can enjoy picking strawberries and even soak in the hot springs, making it a perfect spot for families and friends to have fun together.
