Yilan Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Launches "Themed Buses" — First Voice-Guided Tours to Show You Around

To attract more travelers to Yilan while helping them explore local culture and information, Yilan’s “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” has not only pioneered electronic ticketing and voice-guided tour features across Taiwan but also introduced two themed buses — one focused on hot springs and the other on child-friendly fun. Weekend services will even include concierge guides. The new offerings officially launched as of today.

Aligned with the characteristics of the Jiaoxi Line and Dongshan River Line, the “Hot Spring Bus” and “Kids Fun Bus” feature unique designs both inside and out based on their themes. For example, the Hot Spring Bus on the Jiaoxi Line has an interior that creates a relaxing hot spring ambiance, aiming to attract more visitors to enjoy the hot springs. The Kids Fun Bus, which targets family travel, uses playful visuals and references to the Traditional Arts Center, instantly immersing passengers in a joyful atmosphere with eye-catching appeal.

In addition, Yilan Taiwan Tourist Shuttle has also launched its first electronic ticketing service, integrating the Yilan Play Card for the first time. It offers three types of day-pass packages in the form of a Day Pass: “Dongshan River Line One-Day Tour,” “Jiaoxi Line One-Day Tour,” and “Lohas Two-Day Tour.” These allow unlimited rides on Taiwan Tourist Shuttle buses for the day. The electronic tickets are issued on the “iPass” card. After use and redemption, the pass can still be reloaded and used as a regular iPass card.
