Creating spaces for children's imagination and creativity: A Danish team redefines amusement parks

According to Lonely Planet, Danish amusement park company Monstrum is building parks that break from tradition, focusing on unique artistic and architectural qualities to redefine the concept of an amusement park.

Monstrum has caused a global sensation because it is a team that builds amusement parks using sustainable wood, composed of 26 artists, architects, designers, and builders. Their mission is to create spaces in cities where children can unleash their imagination and creativity.

Currently, Monstrum parks have been established in Norway, Sweden, Russia, and Egypt, and the company has also won awards for art and design, such as “Best Amusement Park” in Stockholm. Monstrum donates 10% of its profits to children in impoverished areas.
