In an era of explosive creativity, novel environments can significantly influence visitor numbers. This coffee estate, which has gone viral online, features several uniquely designed pipe cabins as private dining rooms. Their adorable appearance has caught everyone’s eye, successfully drawing in large crowds.

“Hidden Gem,” which opened in 2014, is located in Huatan Township, Changhua County. The concept of the pipe cabin theme originated when the owner traveled to Mexico and stayed at a local pipe cabin inn introduced by a friend.

Later, the owner thought the uniquely shaped pipe cabins were quite special. Inspired, they applied for intellectual property rights from the Mexican establishment, successfully obtained authorization, and then returned to Taiwan to create the country’s first “pipe cabin coffee estate.”

With minimal decoration, the exterior of the pipe cabins is fitted only with semi-circular glass panels, while the interiors retain the commonly perceived “original gray.” Each pipe cabin is equipped with air conditioning to ensure it doesn’t get too hot, which could negatively affect diners’ experiences.

There are a total of nine pipe cabins surrounded by lush green lawns, offering the feeling of dining in a hidden paradise away from the city—an experience that’s especially relaxing. Their unique exterior design has also prompted netizens to take endless photos with their phones. When night falls, the orange-yellow lights glowing from inside the cabins add a touch of romance.
