Hong Kong’s Halloween Carnival Month has begun！A themed train “gets spooky” and rolls into Taipei MRT

The annual “Hong Kong Halloween Carnival Month” is here again！This year, the Hong Kong Tourism Board specially created a “Hong Kong Halloween Spooky Train” to promote Halloween tourism in Hong Kong. The train, decorated inside and out with green, orange, and fun patterns, was launched on the most crowded Ban-Nan Line. For one month starting today, it will bring a strong Halloween atmosphere to Taipei commuters on the MRT.

Locally in Hong Kong, the two major theme parks have launched Halloween-themed festivals and invited malls and restaurants to join in the celebration, offering Halloween-themed decorations and dining options. On October 31, there will be a street parade where both kids and adults can dress up in spooky costumes and celebrate Halloween all night long.

To promote Halloween tourism, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has also partnered with multiple travel agencies to offer exclusive packages. A three-day, two-night trip including admission to either Hong Kong Disneyland or Hong Kong Ocean Park starts at just HK$8,999 (taxes included). Meanwhile, China Airlines, together with its affiliates, has launched limited-time, limited-quota themed trips that include Halloween makeup artist services, with package prices starting at HK$8,999.
