This shop located in Tainan,“Egg Gets a Fever,”originally operated as a stall along Beimen Road. Due to high foot traffic, a loyal customer base, and a desire to offer better service, the owner opened a storefront just a short distance away two years later — now situated on Qingnian Road.

Egg Gets a Fever owner Qiu stated that the shop insists on using Dacheng’s residue-free safe eggs, and all production processes are self-taught, resulting in exclusive methods and flavors that differ significantly from ordinary egg cakes sold elsewhere. Among them, the signature silky-smooth egg cake with rich yet not overly sweet drizzled sauces, and the “Love Flavor Glaze Bake” featuring carefully selected Meiji ice cream embedded inside the cake, have both received widespread praise as innovative new flavors.
