Step to the Edge

Not thrilled enough by walking 233 meters above ground? As a member of the World Federation of Great Towers, Macau Tower won’t disappoint thrill-seekers. At 338 meters high, you can climb a 100-meter vertical ladder with just your hands—the only tower in the world where you can reach such heights. From the top, enjoy a stunning view of Macau.

Bungee Jump, Mega Drop

No need to spend a fortune on a flight to New Zealand for bungee jumping. At Macau Tower, you can experience free-falling at 200 km/h and feel the adrenaline rush of a 4–5 second drop. Fans of Running Man’s Macau episode will remember how brave Ji-hyo was when she just went for it!

What’s unique about Macau Tower’s bungee is that the 50-meter rubber cord can stretch to four times its length, bouncing you back up to 30 meters high. Special zO steel cables let you gradually land on safety mats after several rebounds—perfect for enjoying the aerial views.

■ Operating Hours: Weekdays 10:00–18:30, Friday 10:00–21:00, Weekends 10:00–22:00
■ Activity Location: 58th Floor Observation Deck & 61st Floor Outdoor Adventure Platform
■ Participant Requirements: Over 10 years old and under 120kg (including 2kg of safety gear); duo Mega Drop participants combined must not exceed 120kg (including 4kg of safety gear).

If you don’t like the sudden plunge of bungee jumping, try the Mega Drop instead. Unlike free-fall bungee, Mega Drop uses “Fan Descenders” technology to let you descend at 75 km/h without bouncing or inversion, landing smoothly after a 17-second sky glide—with the whole of Macau beneath you!

Mega Drop also offers a tandem jump option, so you can bring a friend along to share this ultra-thrilling adventure.

The Big Wheel (Double Wheel)

If you find the Macau Tower experiences too thrilling for your heart to handle, here’s another way to take in the cityscape of Macau — the Big Wheel at Studio City. Located between the two twin towers of “Studio City,” the wheel resembles a giant “8” hanging in the sky when viewed from afar. At night, the illuminated Big Wheel presents a dazzling, futuristic, and modern vibe.

The wheel also features reinforced glass flooring, allowing you to gaze directly down at the ground scenery. Whether day or night, the Big Wheel gives you sweeping views of Macau’s distinctive architecture.

After your 4D flight, check out the merchandise shop outside for Batman-themed souvenirs — a must for Batman or Joker fans!

While the Batman experience is great for the whole family, children under 120cm are not allowed to ride. Also, because the ride involves moving up and down, leaving your feet suspended, those wearing sandals or flip-flops will be asked to place their shoes in the storage basket under the seat.

Macau Magic Mystery and Master Magician Theatre

Batman Dark Flight and Macau Magic Mystery are very close to each other, so we recommend visiting both spots together. The Magic Mystery consists of three individual magic theaters meticulously created by top illusionist Franz Harary, forming an incredible magical journey.

There will be three magic shows in total with stage changes in between. The first two shows feature international master magicians with unique skills, while the third show in the main theater showcases the latest exclusive magic performance, Mega Magic, created by resident master Franz Harary specifically for the Magic Mystery. Even if you’re not a fan of magic, you’ll be absolutely amazed by this fantastical one-and-a-half-hour experience!

Editor’s Tip:

If you’re short on time, we recommend just catching the third show — the Master Magician Theatre, which is the highlight of Magic Mystery. You can purchase a ticket just for that show alone.

If you’re traveling to Macau with the whole family, Planet J Adventure Kingdom is our top recommendation. Covering a vast area, it consists of 8 themed zones and is Macau’s first homegrown theme park. What’s more, its “live role-playing” concept is a world first, often described as an RPG game in the real world. Through character role-play and over 200 exciting missions, players can create their own adventure stories.

Planet J Adventure Kingdom also introduces new elements via the high-tech personal electronic device called the “Magic Scroll.” Its system program gathers players from across the park to specific locations, where they work together using their wits to complete emergency missions.

The House of Dancing Water is an epic love story that transcends time. At first glance, it might sound cliché or unimpressive, but honestly, in terms of scale, performer quality, music, and storytelling, there’s never a dull moment. It offers a truly stunning sensory and visual experience.

The story takes the audience to a magical and boundless wonderland, guiding them through diverse emotional journeys — from the depths of sorrow and rage, to the heights of desire and joy, lingering on the edge of fear, and ultimately breaking through hatred with love. Without relying on clichés, it delivers an unprecedented visual spectacle through masterful storytelling. You’ll definitely regret it if you visit Macau without seeing The House of Dancing Water.

Gondolas are a key mode of transport in Venice, but what if you can’t go to Venice to experience one? In Macau’s The Venetian Resort Hotel, you can also enjoy a charming and exotic gondola ride.

Cruise along the “Grand Canal,” “San Luca Canal,” and “Marco Polo Canal” inside The Grand Canal Shoppes. These three canals are not interconnected, each featuring about 10 gondolas that cruise their respective waterways. You can choose any one to ride. Most gondoliers are foreigners who sing while rowing, catering to various preferences. Whether you’re traveling with family or as a couple, I highly recommend this experience.

Experiencing Venice’s gondolas in Macau isn’t enough—Macau also offers the Broadway Theatre, presenting a series of unexpected and fantastical performances. A string of never-before-seen and groundbreaking spectacular shows is sure to deliver a multi-layered sensory thrill like no other.

The performance lineup includes fiery songs and dances by the sizzling dance troupe Crazy Rouge paired with vocals by heavenly-voiced Victoria, high-difficulty roller-skating spins by skilled skaters, the humorous Yurek who blends dance with physical mime to tickle your funny bone, and laser dance queen Donatella Colucci who delivers dazzling stage effects through her play with light and shadow. This spectacular 45-minute show will have you glued to your seat without even wanting to take a single second off.
