This is a craft that Gui and Shining did when they were little, and it’s just right for Mia at this age now~
★Instructions:
1. Print out the template, then cut two stocking shapes from felt fabric.
2. Following the holes on the template, use a hole punch to make holes around the edges of the stockings.
3. Sew the two pieces of felt together using shoe laces.
4. Use the remaining shoe lace to tie a loop, which can serve as a hanger~
5. I prepared some self-adhesive felt shapes and cut them into various forms for Mia, who is learning about shapes, to do some collage work~
(Of course, older children can get even more creative, such as collaging onto toy cars, Christmas trees, snowmen, and so on)
6. Stick double-sided tape on the top, then apply cotton on top of it.
7. Your handmade Christmas stocking is complete~

(How well the child does isn’t important—the most important thing is letting the child choose their favorite shapes freely and put them on by themselves~ ^_^)
