Summer Vacation is Here
Today, Mama Sheep’s Simple Cooking Class will teach you how to make adorable matchstick-shaped cookies
These cookies are not only easy to make but also perfect for role-playing with your kids
Truly delicious and fun
Ingredients:
100g cake flour
70g powdered sugar (reduce if you prefer less sweetness)
50g unsalted butter
1 egg yolk
A few drops of vanilla extract (for added fragrance, optional)
Melt chocolate using a double boiler and set aside
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients until well combined, then roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick
Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, then cut into stick shapes
Bake in the oven at 130°C for 15 minutes
(If your oven doesn’t allow temperature adjustment, bake for about 10 minutes — check until the surface turns golden brown)
Once the cookies have cooled, dip the tops in melted chocolate to complete
*ps. If the mixed dough feels too dry or crumbly, you can add a bit of fresh milk and mix
We said it’s both delicious and fun — now let’s see Mama Sheep’s little one in role-play
Let’s look at the pictures and tell the story
Hey~~~ Why does this story feel a bit off?!?!?!
The above is Mama Sheep’s totally adapted version — please don’t hit me…
Since the original story was too sad, Mama Sheep had to turn it into a happy version, just a little tweak
Oh yes ! This recipe has been adjusted by Mama Sheep; if you prefer a sweeter taste, you can increase the powdered sugar to 80g
The texture tastes a lot like wedding cake — Mama Sheep’s dad is a sweet tooth so he loves the sweeter version
If you have a cute box to pack them in, they also make great gifts for visiting friends
Like in the picture below, if someone told you these were store-bought, you probably wouldn’t doubt it ^++++^”
