This romantic and dreamy little bamboo basket turned out so cute~

It makes me want to make more as decorations.

Just this one little paper bag~

Whether from NET or IKEA... they all have these shopping bags, and reusing them is really creative!!

Cut the paper bag into strips using a craft knife.

I cut each strip to about 4CM in length, then fold them in half.

You can use glue to stick them together,

but I found this paper bag is a bit stiff, and the glue doesn’t stick very well.

So I used double-sided tape, folded the paper in half~ and at key spots, cut a small section and taped it.

Also, using double-sided tape to stick the paper bag can also add thickness to the paper,

making the basket sturdier and more substantial!!

Then, as shown in the picture below, interweave the papers front and back~

The part shown in the picture below is the bottom of the paper bag, so it’s thicker than the body of the bag.

So when I was cutting earlier, I left that bottom part,

and used that bottom piece to form the base of the basket by sticking it on~ to increase the thickness at the bottom.

Then, after sticking on the bottom, the previously interwoven papers are also easier to secure!!

After attaching the basket bottom, next fold up all the paper bag strips one by one.

SORRY~ I forgot to take a photo of one step.

After folding up as shown in the picture above, take another strip of paper bag,

and interweave and attach it from the very bottom of the basket just like before.

The finished product looks like the picture below.

At the very top, I used a stapler to reinforce the folded-back paper.

To cover up the staple marks and beautify the basket to add a sense of quality,

I also sewed on this piece of lace-edged knitted fabric.

The paper is a bit hard, so I ended up pricking the needle crooked a lot!!

Be careful when using it to avoid stabbing yourself!!

The lace fabric is fixed in place at eight points, just sew back and forth with one stitch each.

Finally, I sewed the leftover handles from the cut paper bag onto the basket.

It looks even cuter and more valuable now.

So touched~ My daughter had her English class, and I finished it in two or three hours!!

Seeing the finished product, I really love it so much!! What an adorable little bamboo basket with lotus leaf lace trim!!

Do you like it? If you have paper bags at home, follow my lead and DIY one too!!

Actually, sometimes it's really easy to find treasures at the market~

Yesterday I went to the morning market and found a bunch of stalls selling miscellaneous goods, and this stand was truly captivating to me,

I asked the boss HOW MUCH?? The boss said “only a little bit!!”

And the boss said it was a discontinued item from Life Workshop. Without hesitation, I brought it home,

and the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. I placed it in a corner of my workspace, and just seeing it makes my heart happy!!
