[Handmade DIY Gadget] 1 minute to fork-weave a mini double bow!! (Also includes a 30-second video tutorial)

Yes, you read that right! The bows in the photo are all made using a fork!!

By the way, Halloween in the U.S. is coming up
Robbie’s mom and her friends organized a 100-person party
Naturally, she volunteered to prepare prizes for the kids—lollipop cakes
Honestly, lollipop cakes have been made many times before
But at everyone’s request, this time it has to have a Halloween theme

Although we’re not sure what the final result will look like, at least the lollipop sticks are first decorated with black and orange bows, doesn’t it feel more festive? (Robbie’s mom cheats with a little shortcut)

Next, we’ll teach you how to tie beautiful bows using just a fork, both with diagrams and a video!

Tools:
1. Scissors
2. Fork
3. Ribbon

* Use a regular dinner fork, then it’s best to choose a thinner ribbon about 0.3–0.5 cm wide. If you use a larger serving fork, the ribbon can be a bit wider.
* The ribbon can be two-tone or solid color, your preference goes!

Steps:
1. Place the fork on the black ribbon, leaving about 5–6 cm on the left side (short end), and don’t cut the right side yet (long end)

2. Take the long end of the ribbon on the right side, loop it in through the first gap on the left of the fork, then out through the middle gap, and finally in through the right gap—this completes the first layer of weaving

3. Then do the second layer: bring the long end of the ribbon from behind, in through the right gap, out through the middle gap, then in through the left gap. At this point, the long end should now be on the left side

4. Continue in this way to complete the weaving for the third and fourth layers

5. Complete the fifth layer of weaving, at which point the long end of the ribbon should be on the right side
6. Then tidy up the five layers of ribbon so they are parallel to each other
7. Take another piece of orange ribbon (cut to about the length of your palm) and insert the lower end from the middle bottom gap of the fork, bringing it out from back to front

8. Wrap the upper end of the orange ribbon around the black ribbon, bring it out from the middle top gap of the fork, and tie a loose knot with the lower end of the orange ribbon—don’t tighten it yet
9. Then, take the original long black ribbon and pull it from behind the right gap of the fork to the front

10. After tightening the orange ribbon’s loose knot, adjust the ribbons slightly so that both ends of the orange ribbon hang downward
11. Gently pull the bow off the fork

12. Trim off any excess ribbon, and there you have it—a beautiful bow is done Up^^
After making this set, Robbie’s mom thought to herself: It’s better to stick to what you’re good at. Writing recipes is much easier than trying to describe long and short ribbons here^^ “If you don’t understand what I’m writing, check out my overly chatty self-shot video”

=================================

After seeing how to make a double bow, isn’t it really super simple??
The next one will definitely be a piece of cake for everyone!
The single-layer bow is guaranteed to be instantly understandable even for absolute beginners!

1. Take a ribbon about the length of your palm, place the short edge over the top of the fork, leaving about 5cm on the left side, and wrap the long edge from behind the fork to the left side.
2. Wrap the long edge of the ribbon over the short edge, pass it through the middle gap at the back of the fork, then bring it forward out of the top of the middle gap.

3. Tie a loose knot with both ends of the ribbon, tighten it, adjust it, and then pull it out from the top of the fork.

3. Trim off the excess ribbon, and your single-layer bow is complete!

Bonus: Check out my Up-directed video tutorial. For those who can’t understand the diagram (which is probably everyone, haha), you can enjoy the video instead.
