Where to go for a family weekend outing? Goat World is really perfect for little kids.

On Sunday, taking advantage of the consecutive days of good weather, I decided to take my younger brother to visit the "Sheep World Educational Leisure Farm" in Zhongli to see some small animals. My initial stereotype was that a farm must be located in a very remote area, but unexpectedly, it's really not far from downtown Zhongli — we arrived in no time, which was super convenient.

Upon arriving at the entrance, Jarold initially thought the farm must be quite small and even had a slight urge to back out.

But seeing the parking lot packed with cars, since there were so many visitors, it must have something appealing.

Wow, the ticket prices are very reasonable, which made me even more curious and eager to find out more. After all, even if we accidentally stepped on a landmine, it would be no worse than a family outing to the park, right?

The image below shows the entrance. As soon as you walk in, you’ll see restrooms and a wash area. This thoughtful design allows visitors to freshen up before leaving, so they won’t get back into the car all dirty.

Next to the entrance is a shop selling wooden paintings and drinks, with an exchange counter where you can get a 30 NT discount using your entry ticket. After exchanging, kids can do painting activities directly in this large classroom.

Riding on the yellow rubber duck trend, kids can also "fish" for toy ducks (PS. the fishing rod cannot be discounted with the ticket and needs to be purchased separately).

The pathway leading to the farm (there are also plenty of seats on the right side for visitors to rest).

This beautiful painted wall leads to the restaurant, where diners can get a full 60 NT discount on the ticket price when eating here.

Then we were ready to head toward the farm area. My brother happily ran into the park and, upon seeing the electric duck, got excited and tried to climb onto it.

Our current location is the starting point of the park area. This signpost indicates directions to the left and right. No matter whether you go left or right, after looping around, you’ll have covered the entire farm (which also includes a barbecue area).

We decided to go right first. The image below shows the frog pavilion, where various small frogs are kept in aquariums.

The park has all kinds of animal-themed electric vehicles and trains. How come every one of them seems to attract my brother so much?

This is the first animal we visited after entering the park — little bunnies.

The kids were gathered around the fence, feeding the rabbits snacks.

Perhaps because the rabbits are enclosed by layers of fences and, in my brother’s view, are very tiny animals, they’re easy for little kids to overlook. After just approaching and looking for two minutes, he quickly got distracted by something else.

The image below should be the park’s signature attraction. Older kids can climb up the rocks and then slide down.

On the green grass, my brother happily ran around for a while, then got excited and asked Jarold to play with him.

There are many great photo spots in the farm, as well as places for visitors to rest briefly.

The second type of animal we visited — "poultry."

The third type should be "turkeys," right?

The fourth type — "pigs." Because my brother is still too young and the pigs kept making noises, he got scared and didn’t want to go near them.

Wow, there’s also a shallow pool. Unfortunately, we didn’t do our homework beforehand and didn’t bring a change of clothes, so my brother could only watch other kids play. Up...

The kids were happily playing in the water.

Wow, the main attraction — the stars of the show — so many sheep!!

Look, my brother bravely went to feed the sheep some hay, while Gobby and Jarold sat nearby resting and keeping him company.

Gobby also came to feed them.

Another animal that’s very popular with kids — the alpaca.

There are only two in total!

My little brother happily started feeding the alpacas some hay.

After playing for the whole morning, my little brother’s hair was… completely drenched, sweating like crazy. It was time to head home. On the way back, he finally got to ride a dog-shaped electric car as he wished.

Before leaving, Jarold took my brother to wash his hands, and that’s when we noticed the park also had thoughtful children’s sinks and toilets. Judging by the height of the sink, it was just perfect for him.

The Goat World isn’t too big or too small—it’s really just the right size for a pregnant woman like Gobby. It’s even more perfect for a toddler around two years old like my brother. The ticket price is also great value (we got discounts for 2 bottles of soda and 1 ice cream).

Kids can learn a lot, see many animals, and fully let loose their energy. I really recommend parents with young children to bring them here for a visit on the weekend.
