The 2016 Kids’ New Playground Can Now Get Wet Too! Latest Discount Bundle

The free summer water party is right here! It’s not just amusement rides— the Kids’ New Playground can now get wet too! Next to the Little Flying Dragon on the 3rd floor of the park, there is a bounce slide about one story high and an outdoor splash pool. Visit the Kids’ New Playground this summer vacation and enjoy the amusement rides as well as join the summer water party!
From July 14 to July 18, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, there will be 15 sessions (no entry from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM during the lunch break), each lasting 25 minutes. Entry is available every full and half hour, with a maximum of 30 people per session. Just bring(excluding parking, if Theater, and Kawaii Parent-Child Castle), and you can exchange for one limited-entry ticket at the temporary counter next to it. Entry is granted with this ticket, while supplies last!
In addition, to maintain water quality and conserve water, the water used in this event is circulated fresh daily. After each day’s operation, the pools will be cleaned and refilled, and the drained water will be collected and reused for cleaning toilets within the park. Moreover, staff will be stationed around the bounce slide and outdoor splash pool to maintain order and ensure water safety. During the Summer Water Party, the park will provide the restroom next to the bumper cars on the 3rd floor as a changing area, and additional temporary changing rooms will be set up. Directional signs will be posted on-site to guide visitors.

Originally, Mondays were closing days for the Kids’ New Playground. To allow children to fully enjoy their summer vacation, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, taking reference from other major amusement parks in Taiwan, has decided to trial opening on Mondays during this summer vacation, with free admission on that day. To balance play quality and operational safety, 1–2 attractions will be temporarily closed for maintenance on weekdays (including three popular rides: the Fruit Ferris Wheel, Galaxy, and Marine Action, plus ten others). During the summer vacation (from July 1 to August 28), the operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Visitors entering after 4:00 PM will enjoy a “Starlight Discount” with free admission.

Low-income households in Taipei City can enjoy a 50% discount on admission (NT$15) by presenting valid documentation, and each person can receive four free ride tickets per day from the Visitor Service Center to enjoy four rides for free; each person is limited to one free ticket per day (not transferable), valid only for the day and expires if unused.

Taipei residents can enjoy free admission every Wednesday by presenting relevant proof.
