A follower asked for help asking if I could make “bouncy balls.” She and her daughter had been trying for weeks without success. (At this point I’m thinking: “What the—how is there even such a thing as bouncy balls?”) But to my surprise, I succeeded on my very first try. Cen Cen kept praising me: “Mommy~ you’re so amazing Ur!” (Hehe~ when I was a kid, my arts and crafts weren’t even this focused!)
I think this method is even simpler than making slime putty—and faster too. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to it together!(Roll~) In the spirit of experimentation, I ended up making three balls (1 big, 2 small), in three versions. The result? “Adding Xi first” and “adding glitter first” both worked—the only difference was the slight variation in color!

%? First, add glue (as you can see from the photo above, I used two different types of glue, and both worked)
%? You can use sequins, paint, or glitter glue (you can skip them if you want, the ball will just be white)
%&The method is: first add the glue (that is, add the glue first → then pour in the glitter → then add Xi)
%? First, stir the glue and glitter evenly
%? Then add an appropriate amount of Xi
%? After adding Xi, it will gradually solidify and clump
%&If it keeps stretching, it means it’s still too watery and not clumped enough
%? So keep adding more Xi
%? Once it stops stretching, test it with your hand—if it still sticks, it’s not solid enough yet
%? So keep adding more Xi until it feels clumpy
%&Then slowly gather the small clumps together, shaping them by hand while squeezing out the water
%?
%? It will gradually get bigger
%? Later on, quite a bit of water will remain, so I used tissue paper to blot up the excess water
%? Then you can successfully collect all the remaining clumps together (don’t forget to scrape the edges too)
%? Finally, roll it into a round ball shape (just like making sticky rice balls)
%? If it keeps releasing water, squeeze it out firmly
%? And then—ta-da, it’s done!

Version 2: After adding the glue, add Xi first, then add glitter (the color will be more whitish) (but if you’re using paint, wait until it clumps before adding the paint, which will create a marbled effect)
Version 3: The jumbo version!! Like when I first made the blue one, I tried making it with a very small amount of glue at first. After it succeeded, I gradually built it up, sticking more on to make it bigger. (The bigger ones bounce even more and are more exciting)
