Traveling abroad always requires arriving at the airport early, but when traveling with kids, you need to get there even earlier than most people. After all, traveling with children means more “gear (luggage)” and more “headaches (troubles),” so arriving early helps avoid last-minute chaos. Getting there ahead of time always brings more peace of mind!
But what can you do at the airport with young kids so early in the morning? Hehe, don’t worry — this way, your active little ones will be calmer before boarding the plane, and if they can even sleep quietly, that’s even better!

I heard it used to feature Thomas the Tank Engine characters, but I guess Thomas isn’t as popular in Taiwan lately, because now it’s a mix of many cartoon characters, like Moomoo Hug and penguins. Just one big slide is enough to keep the kids entertained!
Photos taken during a 2017/3 trip to Osaka — there’s also a LEGO block play area. I bet there’s a LEGO store nearby too, haha!
