This time we visited Yani’s Dream Village located on Yangmingshan. It’s fantastic here! I believe many friends have been here before. For those from central or southern Taiwan who would like to join in this fun activity, Yani’s Tainan and Kaohsiung branches also offer the same program.

I believe many friends have been here before. This area features homes with front yards and back gardens — a truly enviable living environment. Every time I come here, it instantly lifts my mood.

There’s a sign for parent-child DIY crafting right at the entrance.

Look at these mouthwatering fresh milk rolls!

Our classroom is located inside the restaurant. Remember, participants should arrive on time!

There are lots of photos on the wall next to the classroom of kids who have participated in activities here — everyone looks super happy.

Alright Up, it's our turn now! Both adults and kids need to put on chef uniforms!

The main activity time for this event is from 10:00 to 16:00, held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Each session includes three different DIY activities, along with a delicious meal.

Hehe, there are four colorful cups on the table, along with some ingredients for making snacks. What are we going to make next? So exciting!

Look what the teacher is holding? It's animal-shaped cupcakes!

Before we start working, let's disinfect our little hands first.

Alright Up, the first step is to knead the dough that will be used for the pie crust!

Just add the ingredients in order and you're good to go Up! Actually, doing it this way here ensures that both adults and kids won’t get confused about the ingredients — it's really great!

We just kept kneading and rubbing the dough with the kids, and after a while, we finally made a nice ball of dough!

Next, we placed the dough into aluminum containers, shaped it evenly, and voila — the pie crust was done!

Then we put red beans from another cup into the prepared pie crust, and it was ready to be baked in the oven.

The cornstarch in the bowl is to prevent your fingers from getting sticky. If your hands get too sticky, just gently pat them with a bit of it, and they won’t stick anymore.

With the base done, next comes decorating the top! Hehe, this part is where the real fun begins.

Don’t know how to do it the first time? That’s okay, you can copy the example, or even get creative and make it wacky!

These are the ingredients for the filling — hehe, don’t eat them all up beforehand!

Ah! We’re all done — now it’s time to enjoy the sweet cream sauce!

Spoon in the cream filling, top with fruit, and then place the pancake-like cake layer on top—done!

Time to start decorating!

After finishing the cream piping, add the pre-made face decoration, and your adorable lion-shaped cupcake is complete!

Yay! Three done in sequence!

Place them one by one into the box—no joke, they really do look super professional at first glance, though a closer inspection might reveal some differences, haha. But hey, it’s three parts charm, and the cuteness factor is definitely there!

Next up, of course, is the certificate of achievement Uploading time Who knows, maybe with this certification, I could even get a job at Yaniq Bakery?

At noon, the kids will enjoy a delicious lunchbox—savory pie, dessert, fruit, and drinks.

Lunch is finished One o’clock brings new classes.

Today, we’ll be making fondant mini cakes!

The main component here—the fondant—is the same kind that celebrity singer Jolin Tsai is so into. Turns out this type of fondant is similar to modeling clay, which allows for versatile shapes and vibrant, colorful designs!

Follow the teacher’s instructions step-by-step. First, let’s start with shaping!

Wrap the kneaded fondant around the mini cake—it looks just like a lollipop Doesn’t it? You’d never guess otherwise!

Hehe, assemble the pre-made accessories, and voilà—it becomes a little octopus.

Take a look at everyone else’s creations—they’re all super cute.

Finished Mine are an octopus wearing a hat and a Pikachu!

Next up is making our own cute photo frames. We were puzzled—why isn’t this a sweet treat? Turns out…there’s a story behind it!

Again, follow the teacher step by step—start by folding the paper.

Next, color the cut-out patterns and attach them onto the photo frame.

See That’s right After a full day of hard work in class, it’s time for a group photo to preserve the memories forever!

Different groups in class Various activities Not only is this a fantastic parent-child DIY experience, but even this group of friends came together for DIY. Shows how even adults want to give it a try—especially with the professional equipment and excellent service staff here!

The fun moments from the second and third DIY activities!

What an enriching and fun-filled day Playing while crafting is truly delightful—both kids and adults had a blast Non-stop joy Highly recommend such courses as great summer activities for kids The moment you put on the chef’s uniform, it feels like a one-day career experience too.

We noticed that our little Hazelnut really enjoyed it, and the teacher said the child was very focused and well-behaved. Who knew this could also help indirectly nurture the child’s attentiveness and patience for details. Hehe, maybe we’ll have a future dessert queen on our hands And the interaction with the child, seeing their beaming smiles, made us feel so fulfilled too!
