First Cabin currently has hotel branches in Osaka (Midosuji Namba), Kyoto (Karasuma), Tokyo (Akihabara), and Haneda Airport Terminal 1. The rooms are larger than typical capsule hotels. The cabin doors are sliding and not lockable, but male and female guests are housed separately, so safety is less of a concern.
Drawers in the room can be locked, and carry-on luggage can be brought inside. For larger luggage, you can store it at the hotel reception or in lockers. Please note that since First Cabin is a capsule hotel, it’s recommended for budget-conscious travelers. The main areas are designed for business rest and mostly use curtains for partitions, which don’t block sound well. To ensure guest comfort, phone calls are strictly prohibited.
