After May, calla lily production begins to decline, and the flowers in the fields gradually enter their summer dormancy period. It is then that the hydrangea blooms take over, becoming another stunning spectacle in Yangmingshan that you can’t miss, aside from the calla lilies.

There are numerous hydrangea farms in Zhuzihu, cultivating a variety of hydrangea types in a rich diversity of colors – from pure white, pink with red edges, light pink, magenta, to light blue and blue tones. Both large-flowered and medium-flowered varieties are available, showcasing vibrant, layered colors that are loved by many visitors.
