On Friday, January 27, 2017 (New Year’s Eve), the banquet hall of Sheraton Grand Taipei will present the “Purple Gold New Year’s Eve” reunion dinner. The Chinese-style set menu is priced at NT$25,888 + 10% per table (for 10 guests), reinterpreting Taiwanese cuisine with an aesthetic concept to deliver a fresh new look. Celebrate a warm, auspicious, and prosperous reunion night with your family. The evening will feature exciting performances such as thunderous drumming, lion dances for good fortune, and the welcoming of the God of Wealth. Outside the venue, there will be fun interactive activities like DIY cotton candy and calligraphy for Spring Festival couplets. The most anticipated part is the lucky draw with generous prizes, including hotel suite stay vouchers, dining coupons, and surprise New Year gift bags—plus many other great value offers from Sheraton Grand Taipei.

Sheraton Leisure Kitchen Buffet’s executive chef specially recommends freshly sliced Cantonese-style Peking duck, grilled whole salmon, and roasted American beef top blade from the carving station. Additionally, the cold dishes section offers delicious crab, and there’s even a steamed dim sum section with unlimited servings of har gow (shrimp dumplings), egg custard buns, and chicken feet... among other tasty dishes—to enhance the festive family gathering atmosphere. On New Year’s Eve, the adult dinner price is NT$1,580 + 10% per person, with the main course additionally including crispy and tender seven-spice abalone and grilled live lobster. For children, the main course is grilled prawns, priced at NT$790 + 10% per child.

The Sheraton Le Le Xuan Banquet Hall’s New Year’s Eve menu includes luxurious dishes such as “Coral Blossom Stuffed Snow Crab Claws,” the rich and flavorful “Green Garlic Braised Fresh Prawns,” the symbolic “Traditional Steamed Sea Bass with Lemon,” and the nourishing “Marinated Sea Snail and Fish Maw with Sea Cucumber.” It concludes with the delightful dessert “Blackcurrant Apple Mousse with Milk Silk Rolls,” wishing for a sweet and fortunate new year ahead. The Chinese-style reunion set menu is NT$17,500 + 10% per table (for 10 guests).

In addition to the playful scenery, there will be a special photo area for families to capture memorable reunion photos. The performance stage will kick off with a dazzling laser water drum show. Moreover, the lucky draw is equally thrilling, with prizes including Sheraton Taipei room stay vouchers, dining coupons, and various exciting gifts. The price starts at NT$26,800 + 10% per table (for 10 guests), and each table will receive two New Year gift sets.

Hotel Formosan Taipei Da’an’s Port23 Italian restaurant offers a “Prosperous Chicken – Generous Italian New Year Flavor” four-person sharing set for the reunion dinner this New Year’s Eve. Paired with newly launched winter dishes, the set includes colorful and festive “Thinly Marinated Spicy Green Papaya Shrimp with Bell Pepper Handmade Crisps,” the seafood-rich “Crispy Seafood Platter,” and the rich “Port Red Wine Braised Beef Brisket with Wild Mushrooms and Risotto”—all classic Port23 favorites. It also features the must-have dish for the New Year, symbolizing continuous wealth: “German-style Roast Country Pork Knuckle.” The four-person reunion set is NT$3,000 + 10%, offering 10 generous dishes.
L’Atelier Tien Hsiang Lou
With the Lunar New Year approaching, Taipei’s L’Atelier Tien Hsiang Lou (under the Regent Taipei) recently launched individual set meals at NT$2,880 + 10% and reunion set menus at NT$28,800 + 10%, which sold out quickly. Currently, only a few tables remain available in the banquet hall. However, L’Atelier Tien Hsiang Lou located on the 11th floor of SOGO Zhongxiao Store offers authentic Hangzhou cuisine and premium ingredients. It simultaneously provides a reunion set menu at NT$28,800 + 10% and a portable “Prosperous Chicken” New Year’s takeaway meal at NT$8,800 for 8 people. About 40% of seats are still available for booking.
