The stunning Taipei Flora Expo showcases art and floral design, with the Life Hall highlighting the aesthetics of everyday living.

With the countdown underway for the “2010 Taipei International Flora Expo,” the “Life Hall” in the Xinsheng Park area will be managed by the Angel Art Museum throughout the exhibition period, bringing to life the ideals of life aesthetics and the artistic transformation of everyday living. Artistic beauty, through creative ingenuity, combines flowers, technology, and humanity, manifesting in all aspects of daily life — this is the core spirit behind the operation of the Life Hall.

Following the Kaohsiung World Games and the Taipei Deaflympics, the Taipei International Flora Expo is Taiwan’s largest international event to date. It offers an opportunity to showcase on the global stage Taiwan’s four major strengths: “floral and horticultural excellence,” “cultural and artistic characteristics,” “environmental and ecological care,” and “cutting-edge technological achievements.” The expo features 14 uniquely themed pavilions across four major exhibition zones, integrating elements of horticulture, technology, art, and humanity. The “Life Hall” has already earned the highest honor of Diamond Green Building certification. Coupled with the participation and planning of the Angel Art Museum, it incorporates life art aesthetics into the exhibition content, delivering an unprecedented experience.

The Angel Art Museum has officially launched its “Life Hall Flower Angels” recruitment campaign. Volunteers serving as “Flower Angels” in roles such as spreading love, interpreting flower meanings, guiding tours, sharing information, handling public relations, and organizing events will exclusively appear at the “Life Hall.” These uniquely beautiful guides will offer services to the many visitors of the Flora Expo, providing a refreshing new experience.

The “Life Hall” also features a real-scene guided exhibition area that blends art with technology and humanity. The “Art Lobby,” designed with soaring architecture to highlight spatial layers, serves as an ideal venue for international visual art exhibitions and exchanges. A connecting corridor leads to the massive “Audiovisual Theater,” which presents the diverse beauty of Formosa through dynamic aerial footage, landscapes, and high-definition video content featuring abundant marine resources — making it the first stop for international travelers to discover Taiwan. Additionally, the “Life Wisdom Center” and “Premium Image Zone” serve multiple purposes for brand exchanges, presentations, and performing arts. Beyond the hardware design, spaces such as the “Mind-Body-Spirit SPA” and the “Courtyard Garden/Aquatic Plant Area” provide busy modern visitors a place to pause and unwind, creating a sense of an idyllic retreat inspired by a return to nature.
