Auspicious New Year dishes for a prosperous Tiger Year — choose from Chinese or Western cuisine

Hotel ONE Taichung is launching the “Prosperous Tiger Reunion Feast” on New Year’s Eve and the second day of the Lunar New Year. With the breathtaking night sky view of Greater Taichung and an exquisite fusion of Eastern and Western cuisines, gather your family to welcome the New Year together.

On the 28th floor, the Executive Chef of Yicai (International Cuisine) has crafted a series of delightful seasonal dishes themed around European cuisine, including “Fennel Tomato Soup with Italian Bread,” “Lemon Seabass with Herb White Wine Sauce,” and “Braised Beef Ribs in Red Wine,” along with desserts — a total of five courses. The semi-buffet reunion set is suitable for small families, serving about 3–4 people per table, priced at $3,888 + 10%. On the 27th floor, the Huayanlou restaurant also offers a special New Year’s reunion table menu during the Spring Festival, featuring 12 luxurious dishes made with premium ingredients, serving 10 people per table, priced at $13,888 + 10%.

On the 46th floor, the Executive Chef of Top of ONE combines traditional Jiangsu-Zhejiang cuisine with French culinary elements to present a uniquely diverse modern Chinese dining experience. The set menu includes “Grilled Ribeye with Sautéed Green Beans,” “Abalone with Fermented Red Tofu on Beancurd Skin,” “Chicken Meatball Soup with Mushroom Dumplings,” and “Salmon Roe and Hokkaido Scallop Salad with Lime,” featuring at least seven courses plus desserts, starting at $1,680 + 10% per person.

Diners who enjoy the festive set menus at either Yicai (28F) or Top of ONE (46F) can participate in the Lucky Draw for prizes such as hotel stay vouchers and dining coupons. Hotel ONE Taichung is also offering a new takeout option this year: the premium “Fortune Abalone Buddha Jumps Over the Wall,” priced at $2,688 per bowl. Additional offerings include “Hangzhou Dongpo Pork,” “XO Sauce Radish Cake,” and “Classic Radish Cake,” along with desserts such as Date and Walnut Cake, Shanghai Sponge Cake, and nougat.
