As March arrives, not only is the weather gradually warming up, but the travel market is also rolling out amazing spring launch deals. Starting in March, AirAsia is launching a massive “Big Sale” promotional campaign — domestic flights within Malaysia are available for as low as RM95, while trips to Australia to cuddle koalas and see kangaroos are offered at discounted rates under RM6,000. This is being hailed as the most affordable travel package ever, and consumers should seize this great opportunity.

The AirAsia “Big Sale” promotion covers more than 130 routes across over 70 destinations, including South Asia, China, Australia, India, and Europe. The sale runs from now until March 7, with travel dates between September 25 and February 13, 2011. For those planning to travel soon, you can book online during the simultaneously launched “March Online Madness” flash sale. Book your flight online before March 7 to enjoy early travel dates from March 23 to May 31.

To thank customers, AirAsia is offering ultra-low fares on all its routes. Domestic Malaysian routes such as Penang, Langkawi, Terengganu, Johor, and Kota Bharu start from just NT$95. Direct flights from Taiwan to Sabah start from around NT$990, and direct flights from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur start from NT$1,490. Meanwhile, international routes departing from Malaysia are slashed to as low as NT$290 during the “Big Sale.”

This time, AirAsia has specially introduced the “Kangaroo Route” to Australia, with destinations such as the Gold Coast, Melbourne, and Perth available at promotional prices starting from around NT$1,490. Taiwanese travelers flying via Kuala Lumpur to Australia can enjoy deals under NT$6,000, and travelers transiting through Malaysia to Europe can reach London for just an additional NT$6,990 (all prices mentioned are one-way fares).

In addition, AirAsia has thoughtfully launched AirAsiaGo on www.airasia.com to help customers plan their entire trip, including hotel and package deals. Customers can choose from over 50,000 hotels and access services such as tours, activity arrangements, holiday accommodations, and transportation. Furthermore, customers who purchase tickets during the “Big Sale” can enjoy extra benefits: a free one-night stay at selected AirAsia premium four- and five-star partner hotels in Malaysia, Macau, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Indochina.
