Where is the place with the highest concentration of stars in Hong Kong? It has to be Madame Tussauds！ During the World Cup craze, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong added the handsome Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, whose iconic smile is so lifelike that it has captured the hearts of countless fans！

The main Madame Tussauds museum is located in London, UK. The Hong Kong branch is the first in the Asia-Pacific region, opening in 2000 and featuring around 100 wax figures of international, Chinese, and Hong Kong celebrities. This Madame Tussauds spans three floors and includes six themed exhibition areas: “Charming Hong Kong,” “Music Legends,” “Historic Icons,” “World Premiere,” and “Sports Stars,” along with a permanent horror-themed section called “Survival Escape,” offering you a thrilling and chilling experience.

At Madame Tussauds, you can “meet” and take photos with your favorite idols, such as Andy Lau, Lin Chi-ling, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie. Even the ever-popular Lin Chi-ling (as Xiao Qiao) strikes an elegant pose forever preserved in the museum. Moreover, you can compare heights with basketball giant Yao Ming, hold a press conference with Obama, or dance with Michael Jackson—here, anything is possible！

In addition to the celebrities, an indispensable figure in this wax museum is its creator—Madame Tussauds herself. In 1777, she created her first wax figure for the French philosopher Voltaire. Later, during the French Revolution, she searched through piles of victims’ bodies to make death masks of severed heads and crafted wax figures for many notable individuals. She eventually established the first permanent exhibition on Baker Street in London in 1835. To this day, Madame Tussauds museums have been established in ten locations worldwide for public visits. In the museum, you can also learn about the process of making wax figures and shop for a range of exquisite souvenirs in the gift store to commemorate your trip！
