Is it too hot to go anywhere this summer? The 2010 Kaohsiung Beer Festival will definitely help you chill out. The event will kick off with a bang at the Dream Mall from July 23 to August 1. A fantastic 10-day program is set to ignite this lively summer holiday, featuring a rich lineup of “6 superstar performances, 8 major beer brands, 10 days of beer parties, and 20 exciting shows,” with different themes for each day to attract visitors from all over for a good time.
The 2010 Kaohsiung Beer Festival takes place at the Dream Mall.
This year’s festival is jointly organized by the Kaohsiung City Government and 7-ELEVEN, with a focus on a grand selection of beers from eight top brands — Taiwan Beer, Heineken, Budweiser, Fire Ice, ASAHI, KIRIN, CORONA, and Tsingtao — bringing a cool and refreshing vibe to the summer evenings. It’s the perfect spot to unwind during the vacation. Performing artists at the festival include Show Lo, Elaine Huang, Winnie Hsin, Sherry Su, Jolin Tsai, and Emil Chau, among others, who will take turns delivering great music. Enjoy your favorite brews while taking in diverse visual and auditory treats.

But do you think one visit will be enough? The organizers have prepared five special themes — Beach Hip-Hop Night, Student Rock Night, Lady’s Disco Night, Rainbow EDM Night, and Fashion Models + Mandarin Hits Night — ensuring grand and joyful parties that you’ll want to attend again and again, bringing friends along to beat the heat together!
Regular hours are 18:00–22:00 on weekdays, extended to 16:30–24:00 on holidays.
