Online shopping is no longer a novelty—clothing, food group buys, and more can all be handled online. But now, you can even pick out complete “menu” content over the internet, allowing home cooks to skip the hassle of going out to select ingredients and prepare supplies. Simply choose your dishes, soups, and desserts online, and the system will generate a list of the required fresh ingredients and sauces, making the concept of an online kitchen more user-friendly.

The currently launched 100 recipes include 70 main dishes, 20 soups, and 10 desserts. Popular home-cooked dishes such as San Bei Ji (Three-Cup Chicken), Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, Chicken Soup with Ginseng, and Crabmeat Tofu Soup are all on the menu. This solves the dilemma faced by working women and homemakers who often struggle to decide on a menu or can’t buy multiple ingredients at once, offering a more convenient way to cook.

CTBC Bank sees great potential in the online shopping market and has specifically partnered with the Fresh Ingredients Online platform to launch the “CTBC Kitchen Shop Fresh – Eat at Home” program. From January 17th until the end of the year, for the first three months (Jan 1–Mar 31, 2011), any member making a single purchase of NT$888 or more, split into three installments, will enjoy a 12% discount, plus the option to add an NT$8 bonus item. Customers just need to complete their online transactions before 5:30 PM daily, and the chilled groceries will be delivered to their doorstep by 2 PM the next day—an incredibly convenient new option.
