Is the perfect proposal in your romantic dreams a surprise, a promise, or just a simple confession? A renowned hotel group is seeking the world’s most romantic proposal idea. The grand prize winner will not only receive 1 million frequent flyer miles but will also enjoy a free stay at 8 luxury hotels across four continents, embarking on the most romantic global journey with their loved one under the blessing of Cupid.

Langham Hotels Group, which owns 28 properties, is publicly inviting proposal plans from around the world before April 29. Participants are required to upload a one-minute proposal video (real or imagined) to the website http://romantic.langhamhotels.com/. The final 10 finalists will be announced in May, and for the finals, they must upload an additional short video explaining why they deserve to win. The ultimate winner will be revealed on June 10.

The judging panel will select the winner based on creativity, originality, and popularity. The winner will enjoy an all-expenses-paid romantic round-the-world trip (to be completed between June 10 and December 31, 2011), using the awarded frequent flyer miles to visit Langham Hotels in London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Boston, Melbourne, and Auckland. They will also need to create and upload a video showcasing “Five Romantic Experiences” to let the world witness their love story.
