The Sun Moon Lake Cycling Adventure and Firefly-Watching Season Kicks Off

In addition to the traditional family-friendly cycling route along the shores of Sun Moon Lake, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China, a special self-challenge route of approximately 100 kilometers has been planned for the first time. The start and finish point is Zhongshan Sports Park in Caotun, taking riders along Provincial Highway 14 (Zhongtan Highway), turning onto Provincial Highway 21 at Puli's Ailan Bridge toward Sun Moon Lake. Riders will then use the newly completed Xiangshan Administrative & Visitor Center as the turnaround point before returning the same way back to Zhongshan Sports Park in Caotun, making a round trip of about 100 kilometers. Participants who register for this 100K challenge route will be offered chip-timed services, and those who complete the ride will receive a certificate and commemorative gift.
