The countryside in European and American movies looks just like this: in vast farmlands, cows and sheep graze leisurely, in the afternoon you shear adorable sheep and milk them, and in the evening everyone gathers around for a barbecue and heart-to-heart chats — a truly relaxing and delightful experience. Warrook Cattle Farm is located about a 55-minute drive southeast of Melbourne. This 300-acre farm features century-old farmhouse buildings, beautiful gardens, and expansive pastures. Visitors usually have a barbecue lunch and afternoon tea here, then take a farm shuttle to feed the lambs and calves, as well as watch the milking process. There’s also an exciting sheepdog herding show, where the entire flock of sheep obediently moves according to commands, and the staff then select one sheep for shearing — it’s highly entertaining.

 

 

Warrook Farm is a well-known tourist ranch, home to over 600 sheep and cattle, including award-winning Murray Grey cattle. Friendly kangaroos and koalas also live here. In addition to enjoying the farm views, farm-fresh cuisine, wine, and various activities, visitors can also tour the historic farmhouse filled with antique furnishings. For smaller groups, guests may even dine with the owners in their private dining room, experiencing the warm and personal hospitality of the farm.
