LOHAS travel: A dedicated "biker-friendly 'Wellness Bike Inn'" for cyclists

The value of ordinary bikes seen on the road is mostly in the few-thousand-dollar range, while advanced models designed for long-distance rides, mountain climbing, or off-road use vary widely in price. Basic ones start at around NT$10,000–20,000, and high-end models can even go up to several hundred thousand. It’s all too easy for a bike to be stolen if you’re not careful, so cyclists often choose their accommodations with great caution.

Stepping into the “Wellness Bike Inn” created by Kenting L’Hotel Le Tropical Resort & Spa and Giant, you can even check in without getting off your bike—just ride straight through the entrance. The front desk is designed at a height that allows you to complete the check-in process while still seated on the saddle, without needing to get off. If you don’t want to buy a bike just for occasional rides or find transporting your own bike to Kenting a hassle, the inn also offers bike rental services, with a selection of Giant models available. Besides planning your own route, you can also join the inn’s packaged tours, where professional guides lead you on bike rides through Kenting’s mountain and coastal scenery.

The Wellness Bike Inn has 68 guest rooms, including two types: Knight Family Rooms and Loft-style Knight Family Rooms. Each room is equipped with a bike rack that allows you to hang your bike on the wall—saving space and ensuring you won’t lose sleep worrying about where your bike is.

There’s also a year-round Giant bike maintenance service station and a bike experience academy. There are beginner experience camps as well as Taiwan’s first “Off-Road Bike Trail Experience Area,” allowing both adults and children to easily enjoy the fun of cycling.
