The 7/15–17 International Beer Festival is here—get fired up with bikini parties!

Feeling low in summer? A big gulp of ice-cold beer will definitely cool you down! Currently in full swing is the season when cities across the globe host beer festivals. The “7-ELEVEN International Beer Festival,” which has attracted 100,000 participants over the past three years, will be held this year at Taipei Hankyu Department Store’s Dream Plaza from 7/15 to 7/17. Women wearing bikinis can enter for free, while the general public can get in for just NT$200, redeemable for beer, Hankyu gift vouchers, and more. Eight major international beer brands will be onsite, bringing the charm of an international summer city nightlife party to everyone.

The series of events for the 7-ELEVEN International Beer Festival began with a “3 for 29% OFF on imported beers” promotion at all stores and will continue until July 26. Alongside this, the store has launched its own brand of high-capacity beers and 60 international beers led by European selections. The highlight—the “7-ELEVEN International Beer Festival” party—will connect northern and southern Taiwan for the first time this year, taking place at Taipei Hankyu from 7/15 to 7/17, with the Kaohsiung edition to follow next week from 7/22 to 7/25. Over 50,000 visitors are expected to join in the fun.

Exclusively imported beers include Germany’s Erdinger wheat beer, lemon-flavored specialty brews, Belgian beers, as well as Britain’s claimed “butter beer” Boddingtons and France’s Kronenbourg white beer. Also introduced are Hawaiian Wave Board and Asian-style beers such as Thailand’s Singha, Korea’s Hite, and Japanese brews—all very popular with the public and contributing to nearly a 50% growth in beer sales.

On 7/15–7/17, four bands and artists including Morning Call, SKY JAZZ, Xiaoman, and Linda will perform live. Eight major beer brands—Heineken, Kirin, Asahi, Budweiser, Corona, Tsingtao, Taiwan Beer, Binghuo—and 7-ELEVEN’s own brand THE BEER will gather for a fiery bikini beer party and fun beer competitions.
