EVA Air secures operation rights for Songshan Airport Business Aviation Center to serve premium travelers

The highly competitive operation rights for the Songshan Airport Business Aviation Center have been awarded to EVA Air. During the 10-year operation period, EVA Air will provide entry and exit clearance services for passengers of business jets and private small aircraft, and carry out maintenance, dispatch, and flight planning for business and private aircraft, taking the business functions of Songshan Airport to the next level.

After signing the contract with the Civil Aeronautics Administration, EVA Air will begin setting up relevant hardware and software facilities, including fast-track clearance services for passengers, baggage and personnel security screening facilities in the restricted area, and integrating existing backend support system platforms. Initially, renovation work will be carried out on the business terminal and maintenance hangars, with completion scheduled for April 2012.

EVA Air stated that it will leverage the group’s overall resources to operate the Taipei International Business Aviation Center, providing convenient and secure services for corporations or professionals, and expanding the market for business jets in Taiwan.
