Bring your own toiletry kit and enjoy up to 70% off hotel stays in Kaohsiung

Stay at hotels and love the Earth too！Over 40 high-quality hotels and homestays in Kaohsiung, including Hanshin, Formosa, and Regent, have launched the “LiViNN’GREEN！Travel Green Fashion！” campaign. From January to December 31 of 101, as long as guests bring their own personal toiletries, they can enjoy discounted room rates starting from as low as 30% off at participating hotels and homestays. They can also take part in a monthly lucky draw for free accommodation vouchers.

In view of the alarming amount of single-use toiletries consumed by hotels and homestays, and in order to reduce the environmental burden of waste and wastewater, over 40 accommodation providers in Kaohsiung will no longer actively provide or display disposable personal toiletries starting from January next year. Returning guests may also choose not to have their linens or towels replaced. Guests who bring their own toiletries will be eligible for discounted room rates. Simply book the campaign’s room packages on the official websites of the participating businesses to enjoy discounts starting from as low as 30% off. For example, the Standard City View Room at Hanshin Hotel is 3,299 NTD, the Double Room at Formosa Hotel is 2,580 NTD, and the Standard Twin Room at Ambassador Hotel is 2,699 NTD.

In addition, guests can also participate in a monthly lucky draw for free non-holiday accommodation vouchers. Four lucky winners will be drawn on the 5th of each month and announced on the Kaohsiung City Tourism Bureau’s official website and Kaohsiung Travel Network. A total of 48 free accommodation vouchers (with a total value of approximately 240,000 NTD) will be given out over the course of the year.
